Nature is the HOME for all of us. OUR story begins there too. Founded in 1995 Creations is the only furniture fabricator and manufacturer backed by a large conglomerate in Sri Lanka. After many years of sawing, hammering, scratching, sanding & polishing, we have mastered the art of Creation, that paved the way to build a specialized crew which teamed to bring forward the conceptualized themes and dreams aspired. “Creations” is a fully owned subsidiary of Browns Investments which is a part of one of the largest conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

Like all living beings Man creates his dwellings with the bounties of Nature. The colour elements of our company logo with the nest as the main theme, depict the main sources from Nature. Brown and Green from the Earth; White the essential purity; Gold for the great value it possesses and Black the balance that enhances all colours' How well he uses Nature's gift depends on the expertise he calls upon to conceptualize and recreate his dreams of a dignified refuge and a spiritual heaven.

Our services are offered to esteemed organizations nationally and Internationally and we also cater to custom designs to households as well.

We also work with international brands to conceptualize and supply any fabrication requirements other than solid wood based on the requirement of the client. These type of projects will be supplied and installed by the creations team under the supervision of our foreign principals.

Factory Setup

Creations owns its own factory which is located at #64, Batawala Road, Meegoda in a 2 ½ acre land extent. The factory premises is over 40,000 sq ft with a monthly production capacity of over 25million LKR. We have over 85 workers in our factory and all projects handled by Creations is manufactured and installed by our own employees. We have 17 types of machines which includes a cross cutter machine, timber sawing benches, thickness and surface planner machines, thickness machines, surface planners, Tung and grow auto feeder machine, molderlizer machine, panel saw machines, cross cutter machine, overhead router, mortise machine, band saw machine, side cutting machines, central air compressor, wood work lathe machine, and a wood drying kiln where we treat our timber in our own factory.

We have segregated the structure of the factory as per the below chart where there are five sections for production and a separate team for site installations. Every team is monitored by a supervisor whom report to the production manager. A quality control supervisor directly reports to the Production manager for the overall quality control.

We have three foremen under each production division and each team consists of Skilled, Semi-skilled and general staff who is full time involved in the production.
